The Cedar Valley took a direct hit from severe weather that rolled across the region Thursday. Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and Fayette County all reported damage.
The Governor's proclamation goes into effect at midnight and continues through April 30 Black Hawk, Benton, Bremer, Buchanan, Fayette and eight other counties.
