The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center says that there's a slight risk of severe weather this afternoon in Iowa. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are possible with these storms.

Officials issued "travel not advised" alerts in several cities, due to debris blocking roads. The storms also knocked out cellular phone service in Fayette County.
The Cedar Valley took a direct hit from severe weather that rolled across the region Thursday. Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and Fayette County all reported damage.
