The quest for the USHL Clark Cup Championship hits Waterloo this weekend. The Waterloo Black Hawks host Game 3 and 4 this Friday and Saturday inside Young Arena.

Black Friday is more than six months away, but the Waterloo Black Hawks are asking Cedar Valley hockey supporters to make May 6th – the date of Game Three during the Hawks’ playoff series against the Tri-City Storm – a different kind of “Black Friday.”

After Saturday (April 30) night's games, both best-of-five USHL conference finals were tied at 1-1.

The Waterloo Black Hawks evened their second round Clark Cup Playoff Series against the Tri-City Storm with a 3-1 Game Two win in Kearney, Nebraska on Saturday.

It was opening night for both the 2016 Eastern and Western Conference Finals, and it proved to be big nights for the Saints and Storm.

The Waterloo Black Hawks traveled to Kearney, NE for Game 1 of the USHL Western Conference Finals. The Storm opened the best-of-five series on a strong note.

The Waterloo Black Hawks travel to Nebraska to take on the Tri-City Storm for the 2016 United States Hockey League Western Conference championship. Play begins Friday.

After a dramatic and decisive playoff victory on Sunday, the Waterloo Black Hawks have begun preparing for a second round USHL Clark Cup postseason series against the Tri-City Storm, which begins in Kearney, Nebraska, this Friday.

On Sunday (April 24), the Waterloo Black Hawks won in thrilling fashion eliminating the Lincoln Stars from the 2016 USHL Playoffs.

The Waterloo Black Hawks now sit one win away from advancing the USHL Western Conference Finals. That win could come Sunday (April 24, 2016).
