Marshalltown Speedway Releases 2015 Schedule
Marshalltown Speedway released their racing schedule for the 2015 season. The IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series, the newly formed National Sprint League, and the World Nationals all highlight the twenty-eight events on next season's schedule.
After a 'test and tune night on March 29, the green flag will officially drop on the 2015 Marshalltown racing season with the annual Frostbuster. Weekly points racing will begin the follow Friday night.
Two major touring series will visit the Marshalltown speedplant. The IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series make their return to the quarter-mile dirt track on June 2. A newly formed 410 sprint car organization will come to race in August. The National Sprint League is still gathering steam, but Marshalltown Speedway promoter Toby Kruse has announced an August 11 date for the new series.
The pinnacle event for the speedway will once again be the World Nationals on September 17-19. The weekend of racing boosts a $10,000 payday to the Modified victor.
