Ryan Dolan raced the top side to victory in the IMCA Late Model Sunday Series headliner at Benton County Speedway on Sunday, May 31, 2015.

Todd Cooney came from the second row to assume command on lap two and was challenged by Sean Johnson for the lead while Dolan worked from a fifth row starting spot.

Dolan settled into fourth place when caution slowed action just prior to the halfway point of the 25-lapper.

Following the final stoppage on lap 13, Dolan went to work on the outside of both Johnson and Charlie McKenna to steal second with four laps to go.

Dolan quickly reeled in Cooney as the lead pair battled side-by-side before Dolan drove away to the victory. Cooney ran second ahead of a hard-charging John Emerson.

IMCA Modified points leader Kyle Brown drove the low groove from a fifth row starting spot to steal the lead from Jerry Dedrick just past the midway point of that 20-lapper.

Brown protected the low side to seal the victory, his second of the season, ahead of Troy Cordes and Dedrick.

Nathan Wood came out on top in a terrific six-car battle in the 16-lap IMCA Stock Car main event.

Michael Peterson led early while Wood, Damon Murty, Justin Stander, Norman Chesmore and Scott Pippert gave chase on the multi-groove quarter-mile.

Wood found room beneath Peterson to take the lead with four laps to go to score his first Stock Car win in Vinton. Murty ran the high side to come home a close second ahead of Peterson.

Ryan King led throughout the early stages of the 16-lap IMCA Northern SportMod feature. He paced the field while Tony Olson worked through traffic from a fifth row start.

Olson swept past King following a lap eight restart to drive to his second win of the season. Kurt Hogan and Dawn Krall completed the top three.

Nathan Ballard collected his third win of the season in the 15-lap IMCA Hobby Stock feature. Ballard raced the low groove from a fifth place start to steal the lead from Zach Swanson with six laps to go.

Ballard took the checkers ahead of Brian Happel and Jacob Floyd.

Brandon Maitland led all 12 laps to earn his second BCS Micro Mod win of the year. Maitland scored the convincing win ahead of Don Erger and Buster Pate.
