Matt Ryan Grabs the Rebel 5k Win at Davenport

Matt Ryan impressed the hometown crowd grabbing the $5,000 Rebel 5k payday at Davenport Speedway on April 7, 2017.

Ryan started ninth for the forty-lap Late Model A-Main. Patience was the key as he slowly moved towards the front. Ryan worked the bottom line to challenge Jesse Sobbing for the lead.

After a side-by-side battle, Ryan finally cleared Sobbing and raced off to the win. Sobbing finished second. Nick Marolf, Justin Kay, and Cayden Carter completed the top five.

Justin Kay dominated the twenty-lap Modifid A-Main. Joe Bonney survived a competitive Street Stock feature to visit victory lane. Tyler Soppe bested a large field of SportMods and snared the win.
