Farley Speedway race recap and results from Friday, August 7, 2015. It was Kids Back to School Night at the speedway.

Three Rivers FS hosted Kids Back To School Night at the Farley Speedway which included Bicycle give a ways, Back to school bags and a huge nickel scramble sponsored by Cal-Co Spray Coating and Insulation.

The racing action was fast and furious on a very heavy race track on Friday night. When the final checkered flag of the night waved it was Joel Callahan scoring the win in the 25 lap Klein Custom Homes IMCA Late Model feature. Callahan battled with Luke Merfeld for several laps before finally making the winning move with ten laps to go. Merfeld crossed under the checkers in second ahead of Larry Harris.

Mitch Morris topped the Precision Transmission IMCA Modified 20 lap main event. Morris overtook race leader Mike Burbridge near the midway point and went on to hold the late race challenges of Mike Schulte in taking the win.

Austin Heacock scored a hard fought win in the GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Sportmod division. Heacock emerged from a 3 car battle late in the race to take the checkers ahead of Tyler Soppe and Jason Riechers.

The IMCA Stock Cars delighted the fans with another very good main event featuring lots of side by side racing. Norman Chesmore scored the win in the 15 lap main crossing the finish line ahead of Chris Luloff and Phil Holtz.

Quinton Miller topped the IMCA Hobby Stock main event on Friday night. Brett Vanous ran second ahead of Leah Wroten.

IMCA Weekly Series racing action will continue on Friday, August 14th with the 2 Man Cruisers joining the program. Hot laps will get underway at 7 pm with racing to follow.
