Driver appreciation night at the races was held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Farley Speedway. With a huge crowd in attendance, the racing was nothing short of fantastic on a wide super smooth and fast race track.

The headliner of the night was the 25 lap Klein Custom Homes IMCA Late Model feature, the main event included lots of wheel to wheel racing with several drivers in contention for the lead. Tyler Bruening came on late in the race to overtake leader Nick Marolf and went on to record his second win of the 2015 season. Bruening is the defending Farley Speedway Late Model champion and the win was hard fought for the Decorah driver, taking the checkers ahead of Jeff Tharp and Jon Merfeld.

The Precision Transmission IMCA Modified main event win went to JD Auringer. The 00J of Auringer got to the lead early and went on to score the 20 lap feature win ahead of Matt Gansen and Jason Roth.

The GSI Collision Specialists Sportmod feature was another hard fought race which saw 3 different drivers take their turns out front before Troy Bauer was able to take the lead for good at the midway point of the main event. Bauer crossed the finish line ahead of Justin Becker and Tyler Soppe.

Phil Holtz scored a popular win in the IMCA Stock Car feature, holding off defending track champion Jerry Miles. Holtz took the checkers first by less than a car length.

Dustin Chapman scored the main event win in the Hobby Stock class. The Hobby Stock feature saw several drivers lead with some really hard racing going on for the lead and the leaders actually tangling late in the race, Chapman was in the right place at the right time to score the win over Quinton Miller.

The 2 man cruisers were also in action on Friday night, the team of Reimer and Bolsinger from Garber picked up the win. The 2 man cruisers will return again this coming Friday night.

Racing will continue at the Farley Speedway on Friday, July 17th with a full program of racing. Hot laps will take to the 3/8 mile dirt track at 7 pm with racing to follow.
