Small acts of kindness can make a difference. Whether it is taking a second to talk to those who seem down, donating food, or just doing laundry... there is always a way to make someone's day a little better.

The Laundry Truck LA is a free mobile laundry service for the homeless. This nonprofit truck was created by DOLAN Clothing founder Jodie Dolan in 2017. The truck was only open for six hours every Thursday in Huntington Park. That is until they recently received a grant.

Clorox recently gave the nonprofit a $30,000 grant along with cleaning products. The grant money has helped to launch the Saturday wash days last month. The truck has multiple washer/dryer sets which will eventually be parked three to five days per week at various locations across LA. The truck has the capacity to wash/dry more than 5,000 loads annually and they have volunteers that will wash the clothes for the homeless. Thanks to this initiative, hundreds of homeless people across LA will have access to clean laundry.
