Waterloo Man Arrested for Driving Violation in Fayette County

A Waterloo man has been arrested in an early morning traffic stop in Fayette County.

Just before 1am today (Monday, Dec. 30), a Fayette County Deputy pulled over a car for unspecified traffic infractions.

The driver of the 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix, 29 year old Christopher Peak of Waterloo, was taken into custody for Driving While Barred.

He was held in the Fayette County jail until his initial court appearance.
