A Waterloo woman faces a list of charges following an incident in Fayette County.


At about 12 noon Thursday (March 30), the Fayette County Sheriff received a report of a careless driver near Waucoma.

A few minutes later, authorities were notified that the vehicle went into a ditch south of Waucoma on "W" Avenue.

Another 911 call then came in, reporting another vehicle had just been stolen from a farm in that same area.

After locating the vehicle in question, deputies arrested 40 year old Patti Dee Farmer of Waterloo. Farmer was charged with OWI-2nd Offense, Driving While License is Barred, Burglary in the 3rd Degree, and 2 counts of Operating Without the Owners' Consent.

The first vehicle that was crashed into the ditch was also reported stolen from Waucoma.

No one was injured, and damages to the vehicles was minor.
