Water Main Break, Boil Advisory for Hazleton

Due to a water main break in Hazleton, the city's water supply will be shut down for about 2 hours today (Wednesday, Sept. 14), starting at 8am.

When service resumes, a boil advisory will take effect. Residents of Hazleton will be advised to boil their water for at least the next 2 days.

After 2 consecutive water samples come back without bacteria, the advisory will then be lifted.
