Veteran's Day is right around the corner so it's time for another story to prove human beings can be kind, especially when it comes to our veterans.

There is a 69-year-old Vietnam veteran in Texas named Albert Brigas. He works at Renown Auto Restoration and he has for the past 13 years. Recently, he has been trying to retire but has wanted to wait to pay off his mortgage. As of this year, Albert had $5,000 left... that is until his boss decided to step up to the plate to help him out.

Last month, his boss called him into the office and wrote a check for his mortgage. His boss said that he has always been a hard worker and never missed a day and wanted to do something to help him out.

Talk about a surprise for Brigas. Now Brigas can take that early retirement and enjoy a quiet and peaceful rest of his life.
