Valentine’s Day Thefts in Oelwein

A couple of thefts on Valentine's Day in Oelwein are under investigation.

At about 11:45am Friday (Feb. 14), Oelwein Police were called to the 2100 block of South Frederick on a reported theft.

Then shortly after 2:30pm Friday, Oelwein authorities were alerted of a theft in the 10 block of North Frederick.

No other information was released; both thefts remain under investigation.
