Traffic Stop in Oelwein Nets Drug Arrest

Oelwein Police have arrested 2 men, one on drug charges, following a traffic stop late last night (Monday, Jan. 30).

Shortly after 11pm, officers pulled over a vehicle in the 700 block of 2nd Avenue NE in Oelwein.

During the investigation, one of the occupants, 25 year old Joseph Rider Jr. of Oelwein was taken into custody on a charge of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.

The driver, 27 year old Skylar Buhr, also of Oelwein, was arrested for Driving While his License is Revoked.
