Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Grundy County Thursday afternoon (May 31, 2018).

Sheriff's officials said Michael Heard, 75, of Steamboat Rock and Donald Fleshner, 63, of Janesville, were taken to Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center, where they were treated and released. Heard's passenger -- identified as Cathy Heard, 68, also of Steamboat Rock -- was transported to a Waterloo hospital.

According to a press release, the crash happened shortly after 4:30 PM at the intersection of Iowa Highway 14 (N. Ave) and County Road D-35 (210th St.) about two miles north of Grundy Center.
