The Iowa State Patrol has released details on a two-vehicle accident that injured three people in Black Hawk County Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 63 and County Road C-66/Dunkerton Road just before 3:30 PM.

According to an accident report, Kimberlee Adair of Waterloo was travelling west on Dunkerton Road and failed to yield the right of way. State troopers said Adair’s SUV collided with a southbound vehicle, driven by Sherry Frisch of New Hampton.

A passenger in one of the vehicles was also injured, the Iowa State Patrol said. She was identified as Rebecca Braun of Raymond.

Authorities said the three injured females were all taken to a Waterloo hospital for treatment. They did not release any information on the extent of injuries.
