The Patriots have made it to three Super Bowls in a row, and four of the last five. But they still can't claim the title of best CITY to be an NFL fan.

When I talk with somebody from out-of-state, they always ask me, why are Iowans such HUGE fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Iowa St. Cyclones? My answer has always been, it's because we don't have an NFL team in any of our cities...so we throw all of our support behind our college teams. That being said, I think I'm pretty safe in saying the majority of NFL fans in Iowa, root for the mid-western teams nearest us...either Green Bay, Minnesota, Chicago or Kansas City.

A new study looked at a bunch of factors, like ticket prices, attendance, winning percentage, and Super Bowl wins. Here are the 10 best cities for NFL fans in 2019 . . .

1. Pittsburgh. The last time the Steelers made the Super Bowl was in 2011 . . . and their last Super Bowl win was just 10 years ago in 2009. Pittsburgh also scored high for having the most engaged fans in the NFL. (And according to the study, it's also the #1 football city overall, if you factor in college teams.)

2. Boston. Gillette Stadium is about 20 miles from the city. So that likely bumped them into second. But the Patriots also have the second most-expensive tickets. The only city where it costs more to see a game is L.A. (Cleveland has the cheapest tickets.)

3. Green Bay.
4. Dallas.
5. New Orleans.
6. New York.
7. Oakland, California.
8. Miami.
9. Glendale, Arizona.
10. Denver.

Los Angeles is way down in 22nd place. And as a Green Bay fan, I would like to point out...I don't see Minnesota or Chicago in the top 10! (lol)
