The Scariest Place In Iowa Has Been Crowned… Can You Guess Where?

It's that time of year for all things scary and of course that means finding all the scary places across the U.S. that you should probably stay away from. If you are like me and love old, haunted houses, you are going to love this!

Thrillist just put out a list of, "The Best Place To Scare The Crap Out Of Yourself In Every State"... fitting name. As you can guess, these are the scariest, haunted places that most won't dare to go unless you believe in the paranormal and want to go for a good scare, or I suggest going to scare your friends.

So, where is "The Best Place To Scare The Crap Out Of Yourself In Iowa?" It's the Villisca Axe Murder House. If you are an Iowa native, you probably guessed this one as its story has made the rounds scaring kids for years. It's the house of the unsolved case of 8 people murdered in their sleep in 1912. These unsolved murders have caused more hauntings to occur leaving those who decide to rest in the bloody murder room restless.
