The Olympic Committee Looking to Add 4 New Sports to 2024 Games

Do you win the gold or do you get to say you "served" another country?

The next Summer Olympics will be starting July 24th, 2020 in Tokyo, but the Olympic Committee is looking to add four more sports to the 2024 games in Paris.

The Olympic Committee is looking to add: Skateboarding, Sport Climbing, Surfing, and Break Dancing.

It seems like break dancing would be about 40 years too late but apparently, you could be an Olympian in the sport of break dancing in just a few years. No word yet on if this is an individual or team sport (or both).

The details on the skateboarding event was also unclear if it will be freestyle, vert or something else those kids are doing.

The final decision on if these sports will be apart of the games in 2024 will be determined at another Olympic Committee meeting at the beginning of May.
