I would like to start this article by saying that I do NOT agree with this list!

Reviews.org recently published an article titled, 'The Most Overrated Shows in America.' They got their results via a survey. The article says:

"We wanted to know what you thought were the most overrated television shows, so we took some of the most-watched shows of all time and asked residents from every state whether or not you thought each show was overrated."

According to this survey, the show that was chosen the most across all 50 states was NBC's 'Parks & Recreation.' It was named the most overrated show in eight different states, including Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, and Rhode Island. 'Parks & Rec' is one of my top three favorite shows of ALL TIME, so this was incredibly disappointing to see, especially from two of our Midwest neighbors!

However, in the state of Iowa we picked a different show. We chose CBS's 'The Big Bang Theory.' It was tied with 'The Simpsons,' 'The Walking Dead,' and 'Rick & Morty,' for the second most overrated show overall, coming in first place in seven total states. Other popular picks on the list were HBO's 'Game of Thrones,' NBC's 'Friends,' and NBC's 'The Office.'

I also find it interesting that 60% of men found 'Friends' to be overrated, while 64% of women said 'Game of Thrones' is overrated. Oh, and older people are the most unimpressed. The article says:

"On average, people over the age of 54 labeled every show on our list as overrated 64% of the time."

I've watched episodes of every show on the list, and I personally don't really consider any of them to be overrated. I'm certainly not a huge fan of all of them, but hey, I can see the appeal for others! I just really don't understand how anyone doesn't love 'The Office' or 'Parks & Rec'...
