McCollum released 'Pretty Heart' in April of 2020 which also happened to coincide with the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. It instantly became a hit, but he had to wait some time until he could perform it live. In an exclusive interview, the singer said that it had been exactly one year that he went without performing live or touring.

While the pandemic took a toll on many artists, Brown tried to take it in stride. He ended up releasing one of his biggest hits to date with Chris Young in November of 2020. As well as spread his wings and gave hosting a go with hosting the CMT's for the past two years. He has his first round of hosting during the height of the pandemic and was happy to return with an actual crowd this time.

Country Thunder Iowa is a weekend-long country music festival that will be held from June 11th to June 13th. The party is going down at Heritage Park in Forest City, Iowa.
