Erica Durance’s Lois Lane first appeared on season four of Smallville and remained a mainstay of the series through its conclusion after its tenth season on The CW. By the end of the show, her Lois and Tom Welling’s Clark Kent were engaged. And then ... it was over.

Die-hard Smallville fans will finally get a glimpse of what came next when both Welling’s Clark and Durance’s Lois return for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” The multishow crossover will not only combine every Arrowverse show currently on the air — SupergirlBatwomanThe FlashArrow, and Legends of Tomorrow — it will feature many famous DC heroes from movies and TV shows past, including Superman Returns’ Brandon Routh, Batman: The Animated Series’ Kevin Conroy, the original Batman TV series’ Robin the Boy Wonder, Burt Ward, along with Durance and Welling, who teased their return with a new Instagram photo.

Behold Lois and Clark, the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” edition:

The five-part “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover begins on December 8 on Supergirl and then continues on December 9’s Batwoman, December 10’s The Flash and then (after a Christmas break) on January 14’s Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. It’s going to be quite an event for DC TV fans.
