They work fast! Just a day after canceling grandstand and grounds entertainment at the 2020 Linn County Fair in Central City, I'm happy to report the fair has announced they've officially booked Sawyer Brown to perform at the 2021 edition of the fair.

Lead vocalist Mark Miller along with longtime band members Joe Smyth, Gregg Hubbard, and Jim Scholten are joined by Shayne Hill, who's now been with the band for 16 years, according to Sawyer Brown's website.

Sawyer Brown will perform at the 2021 Linn County Fair on Friday, June 25. If you already purchased a ticket for the 2020 show that was postponed to next year, you don't need to do anything. Those tickets will be honored at the 2021 concert, so put them somewhere safe. If you have a ticket voucher that was issued before yesterday, May 7, 2020, those will also be good for the 2021 date.

If you would like a refund for a ticket you purchased for next month's show, contact Etix HERE. You can submit your request refund on that page or by calling 1-800-514-3849 Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Iowa time and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Iowa time. You can request a refund anytime through Friday, July 31, 2020.

Ok, to appease your appetite for Sawyer Brown live in K-Hawk Country, check out some of their performance below from the Jackson County Fair in Ohio in 2018.

As I told you last November when the 2020 show was announced, Sawyer Brown won 'Star Search' 36 years ago. Mark and the band haven't lost one ounce of their love of performing during that time. As a matter of fact, Mark said in an earlier video from the 2018 performance, that it was the band's 37th year. Obviously, that means they'll be celebrating 40 years in 2021. Yes, you'll have to wait to see them a bit longer but, believe me, they'll be worth that wait.
