Reward Offered For Tips In Race Track Burglary Case

Officials at Independence Motor Speedway want to know who damaged doors and cash registers during a burglary Tuesday night (Aug. 11, 2016).

Race track officials announced in a Facebook post that they're offering a $500 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.

Buchanan County sheriff's officials are investigating the break-in. They said property at the facilty was damaged, but nothing was taken.

The race track is located on the Buchanan County Fairgrounds in Independence.
