Postville Man Dies in Floyd County Rollover

The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle rollover that took the life of a young Postville man.

It occurred at about 4:30am Monday (Dec. 4) on Highway 18 near Floyd; a sport utility vehicle driven by 21 year old Tanner Walker of Postville, drifted off the road, went out of control, and rolled into the median.

Walker was ejected from the vehicle; he was taken to the Charles City hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The Floyd County Sheriff and Floyd Fire Department assisted the Iowa State Patrol, which is still investigating.
