A popular Waterloo eatery announced that they will not be reopening after 14 years of service. According to KWWL, Galleria de Paco will not be reopening as a restaurant. KWWL cited the Galleria de Paco Facebook page as a source, however that Facebook page appears to have been closed down or suspended.

Another source, The Courier, the location will continue on as an art gallery. Patrons of the Galleria de Paco were greeted by a replication of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel on the venues ceiling up entry. The location sits at 622 Commercial St. and served European cuisine. The COVID-19 pandemic was given as the reason for the restaurants permanent closure.
