Oelwein PD Arrests Several on Various Charges

The Oelwein Police Department reports several recent arrests.
On Sunday, January 31st: 37 year old Senecca Moore of Oelwein was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, 3rd or subsequent, from a warrant from Iowa City.

19 year old Austin Nichols of Hazleton was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.

34 year old Kevin Jarmillo of Waterloo was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while his license is suspended, and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.

On Saturday, January 30th: Oelwein police arrested 42 year old Gary Cummings of Oelwein on a Buchanan County wararnt for making a false report to law enforcement.

59 year old Lynette West of Lamont was charged with 5th degree theft.

73 year old Sharon Slaughter of Independence was charged with 2 counts of theft fifth degree.

And 22 year old Justin Greene of Oelwein was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, after police received a report of a suspicious odor.
