Earth rules!

One of the greatest phenomena on Earth are the Northern Lights. It's caused by the sun hitting the Earth's atmosphere and charging certain particles and they may be seen in Northeast Iowa this weekend. In a report from The Space and Weather Prediction Center, they are saying that solar flares have lead to the potential geomagnetic magnetic storm that could make the northern lights sink further away from the polls than normal.

So Eastern Iowa could see the Aurora Borealis this up coming weekend. You'll ahve to look low in the sky and away from city lights as best you can. But, there's always a but, the Northern Lights are incredibly difficult to predict but there's a chance the beauty could be visible by Iowans.
