A Jesup man is recovering from injuries he sustained in a weekend all-terrain-vehicle accident.

It happened at about 1:30pm Sunday afternoon (March 27), east of Jesup, in Buchanan County. 23 year old Travis Clayton of Jesup was driving an ATV in a farm field, when he hit a large boulder, which was sticking out of the ground.

The ATV went airborne, then took a nose-dive into the field.

Clayton was transported to an area hospital, to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident is still under investigation by the Buchanan County Sheriff, with help from Jesup Police, Fire and Ambulance Departments.
