The National Weather Service in Des Moines is calling for more snow to find its way to the Cedar Valley this week.

It certainly looked like more, but officially about three to four inches of snow fell on the Cedar Valley Monday (Feb 5, 2018).

More snow is expected to fall throughout the week and into Saturday. Another storm front looks to hit us tonight into Wednesday morning dropping about an inch of new snowfall.  We'll get a quick break on Wednesday from the snow.

Then on Thursday, the white stuff returns. The National Weather Services in Des Moines predicts about three inches. Weather Underground claims three to five inches on Thursday.

Both are predicting more snow on Friday and Saturday. The NWS has yet to post any accumulation numbers, but the Weather Underground says we'll see about three-plus more inches by Saturday.

This week we'll see temperatures hovering in the teens during the day, maybe a 20-spot Thursday. Overnight lows will fall into single digits with a shot at below zero temp's a night or two. We'll return to 20's and 30's next week.
