Boys and girls... Moms and Dads... get ready to make some masks this Halloween! All thanks of course to the Hearst Center for the Arts in Cedar Falls.

Look, I know 2020 has been a bummer with the pandemic and wearing masks every year, however that does not mean that Halloween also has to be a bummer this year! We can still have candy, watch scary movies and even wear our costumes and in some areas go trick-or-treating! There is a catch of course, we have to wear our masks but that isn't such a bad thing when they could match our costumes right?! Well thanks to the The Hearst Center for the Arts, now they could!

The Hearst Center for the Arts will be hosting a Monster Mask Pop-Up event this Thursday, October 29th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on the lawn out front. According to their Facebook, the even needs no registration to join and both kids and adults can join in on the fun! The whole family will be able to make their perfect monster masks to match their costumes as there will be multiple mask sizes and of course social distancing guidelines will be followed.

What a way to kick off the Halloween weekend, right? Make sure to join the Hearst Center for the Arts this Thursday to create your perfect mask for your costume that you will be able to enjoy during all of your festivities this year. Remember that you are never fully dressed without..... a mask in 2020!
