Millions of Children’s Water Bottles Recalled

Millions of children's water bottles are being recalled due to a choking hazard.

Contigo announced today that their kids Cleanable Water Bottles are being recalled. The silicone mouth piece can come off and pose a choking threat to children. Several consumer complaints were because this piece from the spout of the water bottle was found in the mouths of children.

The Contigo Kids Cleanable Water Bottles on recall were from grocery stores like Walmart, Costco and Target.

According to WQAD.com,

"The bottles come in three sizes, 13-ounce, 14-ounce, and 20-ounce, and included multiple colors, materials, and graphics.

Contigo reported the bottles were sold individually, as well as in two packs and three packs. The recalled bottles were sold from April 2018 through June 2019."
