"This is incredible. Thank you, country music," Morris said when she reached the podium, tearing up as she accepted the prize. "Thank you to my peers in this room that I respect so much for voting for me for this."

Morris' Girl features her top hits like the title track, "The Bones," "Good Woman," "All My Favorite People," among others. The album has given country music fans something to be inspired by, which is why it broke the record for the largest streaming week ever for an album by a woman in the country genre.

The record was produced by Morris alongside the late Busbee and Greg Kurstin. Morris tried to hold back the tears as she delivered a beautiful acceptance speech that also remembered her late producer and friend.

"Thank you for sharing your husband with us once a month. And my heart goes out to you and your beautiful daughters," Morris expressed to Busbee's family, who was sitting in the audience. "I hope when they listen to this record or any of the songs that he made that made us all better, they know how amazing their father was. So thank you country music! Thank you to the fans. Thank you."

This "girl" is expecting a baby boy with husband Ryan Hurd in the spring of 2020. Morris is currently out on the road for her 2019 Girl: The World Tour.
