The make-up date for Wednesday's missed day of school in Waterloo has been set.

According to Waterloo School District officials, students will be attending classes on Monday, April 13. District spokeswoman Tara Thomas said the district is using a snow make-up date that was included in the 2019-20 school calendar.

Classes in Waterloo were canceled district-wide Wednesday over safety concerns. Tuesday night, someone posted a message on social media threatening to blow up four school buildings. Authorities later determined the threat was not credible.

Police have charged an 11-year-old boy in connection with the incident.
