K Student of the Week: Sam C.

Our first Student of the Week for 2020 (and the DECADE) is Sam C.! Sam is a senior at West High and is involved a lot in school, the community and a part of color guard. You can tell he is a hard worker just from everything he has been a part of in his high school career which has lead to a successful acceptance from UNI! Check out some of his accomplishments below.

"Sam is a hard working student who is heavily involved in color guard and one of the select local students in youth city council. He attends many city meetings, volunteers making meals, works several nights a week at Village Inn, goes door to door helping political candidates, and still maintains a good GPA while doing it. He also just got accepted for Political Science at UNI starting fall 2020."
