K Student Of The Week: David C.

When we look at nominees for Student of the Week, it is important to of course have good grades and be helpful in school but it is even better if kids take what they have learned in school one step further and that is into their community. And that is just what our Student of the Week did.

Our K Student of the Week is David C.! David understands the importance of giving back to society and being kind at all and at such a young age! David is a 2nd grader at Kingsley Elementary school! Check out what this amazing kid has already done in his life!

"I’m nominating David for the student of the week for his awesome attitude to give back to the community at a young age. He loves to help us(parents) at volunteer events in the Cedar Valley. Most recently he danced and sang while serving up food at the Stone Soul Picnic in Cedar Falls. David is kind and empathetic towards others and loves to live an active lifestyle with his neighborhood buddies. He cheers for the Chicago Cubs and New England Patriots and wants to be a teacher when he grows up."

I look forward to this little man becoming a teacher when he grows up because he is going to change a lot of kids lives!
