J.K. Rowling Makes Another Harry Potter Apology
Every year since 2014, Rowling apolgizes for a character she killed off. See who it is for 2018. ***Spoilers***
Harry Potter author, J.K. Rolwing, has spent the last couple years apologizing for characters that she killed off throughout the series. This is done annually and usually on May 2nd. The reason May 2nd is an important date in the Harry Potter universe is because May 2, 1998 is when the Battle of Hogwarts took place.
Rowling's first apology came back in 2014 when she honored all who had fallen at the Battle of Hogwarts.
Then in 2015, Rowling said that she decided that every year she would take a new character and give them an individual apology starting with: Fred Weasley.
In 2016 Rowling apologized for the death of Remus Lupin.
In 2017 it was for Severus Snape.
For here in 2018, Rowling's most recent apology went to Doby the House Elf.
