Just when Hawkeye fans we're feeling REALLY GOOD about this year's team, currently 17-7, and tied for 3rd place in the Big Ten Conference, this happens...

Iowa redshirt junior forward Cordell Pemsl has been arrested for the second time this school year.

According to CBS2, A police officer pulled him over at 1 a.m. Monday morning at South Riverside Drive and Highway 1. The officer pulled him over because of a broken tail light cover. Pemsl is now charged with driving with his license revoked. The Dubuque native was arrested back in September for an OWI.

Pemsl has played in 22 games this season for the Hawkeyes, averaging a little more than 2 points and 2 rebounds per game. Pemsl was suspended 2 games at the beginning of the season for his initial arrest. Coach Fran McCaffery has suspended Pemsl for Iowa’s next game at Indiana (Thursday) per violation of the UI Student-Athlete Code of Conduct.
