Iowa’s Favorite Romantic Comedy Movie Is….

With Valentine's day right around the corner, I am sure you are getting your romantic movie collection together for the weekend celebration. Whether you want to admit it or not, everyone has their favorite romance movie (we all want a little love in our lives) but what makes a romance movie better for most of us.... is when it is a comedy as well!

You may or may not agree with these picks but recently House Method did a study of what states favor for their most popular romantic comedy of the 21st century. Basically they asked over 4,000 Americans from different states to choose their favorite romantic comedy from Rotten Tomatoes's list of 150 best romantic comedies of all time. So, what did Iowans pick?

"The 40-Year-Old Virgin" was the top choice for favorite romantic comedy of Iowa. We were actually in the majority as this movie was the favorite of 19 other states. Second place goes to "Bridesmaids" with 11 states choosing this iconic movie. What other movies made the list? Well the top ones include "13 Going On 30," "500 Days of Summer" and "Wedding Crashers."

So, do you agree with Iowa's choice? Honestly, I have never seen this movie but if it's a comedy it makes me want to watch it. Check out the full map of each state's choice here!
