What better time and place for women to come together than during Women's History month and for Habitat for Humanity?

We have to give a shout out to the women in the Cedar Valley area who recently helped to build a home with Habitat for Humanity. According to KWWL, women from Schneider Electric, Lowe's and other parts of the community came together to help the Habitat for Humanity Eastern Iowa branch build the first home of 2020 in the Cedar Valley.

Actually it is "International Women Build" week where women are coming together in more than 235 communities in places like the U.S., India and Canada to help build homes for families in need and empower other women. Women came together in Hiawatha at the Habitat for Humanity office there to start building the panels of the home which will go up in Fairfax once completed. This is the fourth Habitat for Humanity house being built in Fairfax.
