Sometimes all you need to do to rise in the college football polls is take a week off. That's exactly what the Iowa Hawkeyes did thanks to some other teams loses this past weekend.

The 3-0 Hawkeyes jumped up four spots to #14 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll. Not bad for a team that didn't play this week. Iowa can thank teams like Michigan, Texas A&M, Utah, and UCF for losing on Saturday. The ranking is Iowa's highest since the second week of the 2016 season.
