Iowa State Trooper Struck On I-80 In Response To Crash

Iowa State Trooper Gentry Johannes was responding to a jack-knifed semi, on I-80 in Jasper County last night. The cause of the initial crash was due to icy roads. While at the scene of the crime a second semi truck lost control and hit Johannes. She was then taken to the hospital for "moderate" injuries. Reports say that the roads were 100% Ice covered when the second semi lost control.
