Winning on the road in the Big 10 is never easy. Winning at Indiana is a quality road win for any Big 10 team. Iowa was coming off their biggest signature win of the year after beating 5th ranked Michigan last week and a let down was NOT an option.

The Hawkeyes went to Tyler Cook early and often and the junior responded with 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists on the night. His presence inside was crucial as starting center Luka Garza was out most of the game with foul trouble. Backup Ryan Kreiner was ineffective  most of the night.

Iowa led at the half 46-36 and controlled most of the second half too until Indiana went on a run and cut the lead to 64-61 with just two and a half minutes left to play. That's when Jordan Bohannon took over. He hit two of his five three pointers in a 35 second span including a deep contested three with under a minute left to play. Bohannon chipped in some crucial free throws to finish with 25 points to lead Iowa to the 77-72 win.

Iowa improves to 18-5 on the year, 7-5 in Big 10 play. Iowa hosts Northwestern at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
