Iowa Gym Sings National Anthem When PA System Goes Out [Watch]

Iowa girls basketball game makes sure National Anthem gets sung.

Friday night at a girls basketball game between North Polk and Roland-Story, the pregame National Anthem was done acoustically and it was done to perfection. After the PA system wouldn't play the recorded Star-Spangled Banner, the game's announcer, Bill Capaldo, started singing the first few lines of the song and the entire gymnasium joined in and this video quickly went viral on social media. The school district has received multiple letters, emails and phone calls praising both schools for the actions of the players, coaches, and fans.
