Iowa Bookies Net Thousands From Baltimore Ravens Loss

The Tennessee Titans pulled of HUGE upset over the weekend defeating the Baltimore Ravens 28-12. The Ravens were a heavy 10.5 favorite and they lost the game outright!

Oddsmakers all over the state were happy with the final score in this one. Local bookie Dalton Clark told me, "Jimmy, this was our biggest win of the season. Everybody, I mean everybody had money on Baltimore. It was a good day and we couldn't be happier."

Kevin Hocken, a local Hiawatha bookie told me he cashed in as well. Hocken said "Jaymz, we have 97 accounts and 89 of them bet the Ravens! We were worried this would ruin the entire year but now it's all good."

It looks like the entire country was on the Ravens...not just the folks here in Iowa. Alan Berg from Caesars in Vegas told ESPN Chalk, "It was a high six-figure win for us. A phenomenal result for the house. You name it, we made money of it. Straight bets, teasers and parlays."

So once again, the house is the big winner.
