I-380 Motorcycle Accident Injures One

Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputies responded to a motorcycle accident with injuries early this morning (Friday, August 5th)

Just after 7:00 A.M. this morning,  Black Hawk County Deputies were dispatched to I-380 southbound near mile marker 62 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival witnesses told Deputies that the motorcycle, a 2006 Honda CBR600, was travelling southbound when it began to fishtail on the roadway and then entered the west ditch. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Armin Osmankic, 20, of Waterloo was transported to a local hospital by Evansdale Ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies were assisted by Evansdale Police, Evansdale Ambulance, Gilbertville Fire and the Iowa State Patrol. The accident remains under investigation.
