Hockey Fans Have You Ever Seen “Puck Luck” Like This? [Video]

There's a great hockey term called "puck luck" where the puck will do something wonky and ends up in the back of the net. This is the quintessential definition of "puck luck".

All NHL and AHL pucks are frozen before the game so they glide smoother and faster and freezing eliminates bouncing. The puck in the video below could have spent more time in an Yeti or Igloo cooler.

One thing that is getting really annoying when it comes to sports commentary is the fact that no broadcaster can say any variation the word "bounce" anymore. The ball, puck, the birdie just doesn't bounce off anything anymore... it caroms. Well this bounce (I'm a purest) comes off the back wall from center ice and flips it's way around the post and into the net for a goal for the Texas Stars, the Dallas Stars top affiliate.

Seriously... how?
