Greta Van Fleet and Brett Young to Headline Huge Des Moines Shows

Officials from the Iowa State Fair have announced the final two acts that will take to the Grandstand this summer.

Every single summer, people from all across the Midwest flock to Iowa for one of the best state fairs in the entire country. There's so much to check out at the fairgrounds!

From the deep fried food, the rides, and some great music, there's a little bit of something for everyone.

Taking place in Des Moines over the course of ten days (August 8th-August 18th) this fair brings in acts spanning all sorts of genres to perform at the Grandstand stage.

Officials just announced the final two acts that will be taking over the huge venue.

The official Iowa State Fair Instagram account dropped a cryptic photo on their page on March 5th with the caption, "See you tomorrow" with a winky face.

Now we know that they were teasing something BIG.

This popular rock band will be making their Iowa State Fair debut this summer. Known for hits like 'Heat Above,' 'Light My Love,' and 'Safari Song' this group has three songs that have charted in the top five on the Billboard 200.

This Led Zeppelin like band was originally formed in Michigan. The musical group is made up of brothers Jake, Josh, and Sam Kiszka and Danny Wagner.

Greta Van Fleet will be performing at the Iowa State Fair on Sunday, August 11th.

This country star has blown up over the past few years.

The California native has carved out a space for himself in country music with songs like 'In Case You Didn't Know' and 'Dance With You.'

Brett Young's latest album came out on August 4th of 2023 and is entitled 'Across the Sheets.' This singer will be joined by special guest NEEDTOBREATHE at his show in Des Moines.

Brett Young is set to take to the Iowa State Fair Grandstand stage on Monday, August 12th.
