The Northeast Iowa Food Bank will host their annual Cedar Valley Sack Lunch Delivery event on Thursday, November 3rd and Friday November 4th. The lunches will be delivered to Cedar Valley businesses between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM on both days that event is taking place.

The annual Cedar Valley Sack Lunch Delivery event serves as an opportunity for Cedar Valley businesses and employees to purchase a homemade meal, prepared by Food Bank staff and volunteers, and have it delivered to their workplace. For $7, community members who purchase lunches from the Northeast Iowa Food Bank will receive a shredded pork sandwich, a fruit cup, pasta salad, chips, a cookie and a bottle of water.

“We are excited to, once again, partner with our donors and volunteers, to provide lunch to the Cedar Valley. In doing so, for each lunch sold we will then be able to provide 28 meals to people in need. We sincerely appreciate the partnership we have with community in helping us fight hunger.” - Barbara Prather, Executive Director
